The Blessed Trinity
The ‘Blessed Trinity’ – which means, One God, with three distinct Persons – is often spoken of as one of the greatest mysteries of our faith. However, while it may be difficult to understand, it celebrates a God who is Love, who exists in perfect happiness and harmony with its own internal life and in three Persons – The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit, sharing together a perfect and eternal Love which is never lonely or isolated. It also celebrates a God who wishes to share that ‘life of Love‘ with a creature made in his “own image and likeness” – created with the capacity and potential to freely respond to Love and thereby share the ‘life of God‘. The Blessed Trinity is not an abstract notion made up by ancient theologians. It is the internal life of God – the internal life of a Love already shared with us, which will be fulfilled when we enter the Kingdom of God and see God, face to face.

A Student’s Prayer
Father, please clear my mind and give me the understanding and knowledge that comes from you. Bless me as I take this exam and bring the information that I have studied to mind when it is needed in this exam. Grant me favour as I begin this test. I ask this in Jesus’s name.
Amen

Adoration – Father, Son & Holy Spirit
I bow before the Father, who made me.
I bow before the Son, who saved me.
I bow before the Spirit, who guides me.
In love and adoration, I give my lips,
I give my heart, I give my mind and
I give my strength. I bow and adore,
Thee, Sacred three,
The Ever One, The Trinity.
